Jiangsu FAW Foundry co., LTD., formerly known as attached foundry of China's first automobile group Wuxi diesel engine plant, established in 1943. In 1992 merged into FAW JIEFANG AUTOMOTIVE COMPANY, LTD., together with Wuxi diesel engine plant. In 2002 allocated to be FAW Foundry co., Ltd. In 2006 renamed as the second branch factory of WUXI FAW foundry co., LTD. In 2009 the second branch factory is required making restructuring as in separation stage , and shared stocks with TG co., LTD, and it turn to be JIANGSU FAW Foundry co., LTD. We started developing wind power products since 1997, and we are one of the earliest domestic companies which occupied in wind power industry. We use the advanced CAE simulate solidification for casting and mold filling technology, in the field of technology research and development and process technology of main wind power parts we has became the leader in the domestic and also reached the international advanced level.
We carried forward the research experience and spirit of WUXI Nodular Cast Iron Institute, in nodular iron casting production technology especially for the ultra-large type cast iron parts and big heavy section ductile iron parts we became the leader in the domestic and international advanced level all the while, and at home and abroad we win a high admiration in wind power industry. In 2011 we started to develop Biomass energy, and began to research and produce gas generating parts .We set the sustainable development as the core, set up innovation platform, introduce professional talents, perfect the employing system, in every research and development project we have technology leader and innovative research team, and effectively reserve talents. At the present time, our independent research and development technology, intellectual property rights and products are involved in new energy (wind power and Biomass energy), we make our best to develop professional main parts in the wind generator and biomass energy generator , and our customers group include Danmark Vestas、U.S. GE、Spain Gamesa、France Alstom and Japan Mitsubishi .etc. international famous wind power equipment manufacturers and Japanese kawasaki, Antai Power.etc. new companies involved in Biomass energy.
FAW is located in Jiangsu Wuxi city with a total area of 97334 square meters with 100 million (RMB) registered capital. FAW has 500 employees with total assets 636.45 million RMB. FAW has fifty thousand annual output, and has the capacity of 60 tons weight for single casting. FAW mainly produces the gray iron and ductile iron components in various industries including wind power. FAW has certificated the ISO9001，ISO14000 and ISO18000 system authentication, and Norway DNV、England LR、China CCS、Germany GL、France BV Accreditation. FAW organized to draft GB/T25390—2010《Wind Turbine Generator System Nodular Iron Casting》National Standard; And took part in composing and revising the GB/T 1348—2009《Nodular Iron Casting》and GB/T9441-2009《Metallographic test for Nodular graphite cast iron》.
Our company is the member of the National Wind Machinery Association, advanced unit of Jiangsu Wind Power Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, member of National Standardization Technical Casting Committee, and member of National Cast Iron and Melting Professional Committee. Our company has won the Supplier business growth award from GE、Outstanding partner award and Outstanding factory award from Japan Mitsubishi.
Our company has won 2009 annual "top ten science and technology innovation enterprise"; 2010 annual “Top ten emerging industry development enterprise”; 2011 annual” High-tech enterprise of Jiangsu province”. Our hubs and frame including 2MW and bigger ones have won Jiangsu province high and new technology product title. 3 MW frame for Alstom has won the Gold medal in 2010 China international casting expo.
